Thanks for providing such a wealth of information on one of my favorite characters. I have started reading the reviews on present CABLE issues by THE JUGGERNAUT. His reviews are comprehensive, but I am sorry to say that I disagree with him on the the matt r of Jose Ladronn. I am not saying that he is a poor artist, it's just that I always think of CABLE as envisioned by IAN CHURCHILL. I stopped buying CABLE at issue 57,and I find myself yearning for Nathan golden age, meaning the issues from after THE AGE F APOCALYSE until IAN and JEPH left. Thank again for a great site...

This site was really amazing, I only started collecting Cable-specific titles a few years ago, but there is so much I didn't know about him. Rather than buying all the back-issues, I found your site to be an incredible source. I plan on making a large X Men site soon after I get the time. My current one is admittedly extremely terrible. Cable is about mystery, family and destiny. There was a time when superheroes were unique. Superman was an alien who came to earth, Batman was a surrogate father to Robin and a detective, Spiderman was the everyman superhero, etc. Then, as a result of a misinterpretation of Miller's "Dark Knight Re urns" & Moore's "Watchmen", all the characters we know start to get all meshed together. Superman became one lone, tough guy brooding all the time. Batman became one lone, tough guy brooding all the time. Spiderman became one lone, tough guy brooding all he time. etc. Then we get Cable who started out as a product of the times (early 90s) - a Terminator type of guy. Then he became a surrogate father figure - to Sam, Roberto, Rictor, Shatterstar, Boomer, etc. Then we learn about his background and his destiny - which was a continuation of the Summers-Grey family saga. We meet his three greatest enemies - Apocalypse, Sinister and Stryfe. Then he goes solo again and struggles with the idea of his messiahship, taking one step at a time to truly becoming the Askani'son. We see him abandoning his guns for the Psimitar. We see him relying more on his psi-powers than his fists, etc. He is all the above and he is always growing, changing, developing and yet always mysterious. We still feel that we know soooo little about him. With such a unique and intriguing character, can we ever be bored ?

I love your site. I've visited on several occasions. I finally finished the entire life bio you had on the guy today! I was very excited! I've never seen a site so indepth on any character. And I have seen a few excellent sites on some of the X-Peopl . Everything from your backgrounds to your pics were superb. I wish that everyone was as serious as you were in doing there websites.
