Now that Starhopper was Queen of Star Castle, Baby North Star found herself lonely. Of course, there was Glider, Gusty, and Confetti, but there was still a hole.
 
She often thought of Gwendamere, and if he found his mother and her aunt Planethopper. She thought of them now.

"Yo Galaxy!"

Glider.

North Star turned around. Yup, there's Glider, in the double doors. "What?" she asked.

"There's three Sparkles outside waiting for you, Gusty and Confetti," Glider replied.

"What!" North Star yelled running to and past Glider, out the doors, and into the sunlight.

Gwendamere stood proudly facing her. He was flanked on both sides by an adult Sparkle. The Pegasus looked like him, but had a symbol. The other was a purple Unicorn. Gwendamere's mother and Planethopper.

"Aunt Planethopper! Gwendamere! And Gwenavere! You found them!" North Star yelled running to them.

"It's so good to meet you! Gwendamere has told us everything. We have both of you to thank," Planethopper said smiling down at her niece.

"I hate to break anything up but I guess I'm gonna anyway!" exclaimed Gusty as she came prancing up to the group with Confetti close behind.

"Dreamer! Look! It's Planethopper and Gwendamere and Gwenavere! He found them!" North Star screamed.

By then Gusty had already approached panting. "Yeah, I know. Glider told me and Daddy. I don't know why I just didn't wink out here." Gusty paused to catch her breathe, and her face lit up. "Hey! I got an idea! Let's all go to Star Castle and surprise Starhopper! You could get us all there Aunt Planethopper! Well, I guess it really should be step aunt, but who cares. I don't, but I hope you don't mind because first im-"

"Dreamer?" interrupted Confetti.

"Yes Daddy?"

"You're babbling!" North Star answered for Confetti.

All seven of the Ponies were silent, waiting for somebody else to speak.

Finally Gwendamere piped up. "I guess you two, North Star and Gusty, can come with us; Star Castle is our next stop. But you guys can't. All non-Sparkles must stay out. Do they have permission to go Confetti?"

North Star and Gusty turned to Confetti. Can we please go? Please?" the two pleaded in unison.

Glider quirked an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't want to go back there."

North Star rolled her eyes. "I said only if Mom wasn't there, and she is, so there!"

She then stuck her tongue out at Glider, and he poked is tongue out back at her. Confetti cleared his throat, and the two squabbling Babies diverted their attention back to him.

"Yes, you to may go," he stated.

"Yay! All right!" the two Sparkle girls yelped.

The girls stopped screaming, and Planethopper spoke. "All right then. Sparkles, gather round. Hold together tight. Don't want to accidentally leave somebody behind. Be prepared to disintegrate."

Planethopper then used her magic to whisk her and the other four Sparkles to Star Castle.

"Follow me!" Said Planethopper.

She trotted up to the guardpony that stood at watch.

"We have come from the world below. We need to see Her Highness Queen Starhopper," Planethopper stated clearly with a regal tone to her voice.

"Do you have an appointment?" the guard asked.

"Since when does the Princesses or any other Sparkle need an appointment?" North Star cut in.

A surprised look flooded across the guard's face. "Um, ah, excuse my ignorance Your Majesties! I- I didn't recognize you at first! Of course you may pass," she replied flustering.

"Thankies," Planethopper said with a smile.

The still bewildered guard opened and closed the massive purple gates behind the Sparkles.

As they approached the inner doors, North Star made a comment. "Well, I bet only one out of the five of us have even seen this part of the palace before."

Gusty is turning her head in all directions to see anything and everything she possibly could. "Hey Galaxy, I haven't even been here."

Two guardponies opened the double cherry doors as they came near. "Welcome back Your Highness," the one on the right said with a smile to Planethopper.

"Thankies," she answered back. That one guard had been there ever since Planethopper had
left . . .

Inside the door was a large foyer. Before Queen Shimmer, the one who had reigned two queens before Angelina, sometimes Princesses from the Jewel Desert would come, and they would be lead down the center hallway to meeting rooms and the Grand Ballroom. The Ballroom was only used for Crowning Ceremonies now. The hall to the left led to the main kitchen and the servant quarters, and the guarded door to the right led to the Royal Family's quarters.

The door now opened, and Starhopper stepped out. She was wearing a diamond ring around her horn and shimmery opalescent robes.

"Hoppy!" You're back! Gwendamere found you and Gwenavere! And Galaxy and Dreamer! What are you two doing here?" Starhopper screamed running to her sister. "Come on, let's go to the Gardens, where we all can talk privately."
