Welcome to The Forest Towers of Ansalon
Welcome to the Towers
I am Banon, watcher of the towers. These towers were once the home of Hypophetes, former ruler of this land. He entrusted me with the safe keeping of these towers as he and his followers were leaving this land to explore the world. As such, the towers became a sanctuary for travellers. Over time these towers grew ancient and few have wandered their halls in many years. The fate of Hypophetes is also unknown, as he and those who followed him have never returned. Feel free to look around if you visit, though few people have wandered these halls in many ages
These are the rules made by Hypophetes, which should still be followed by all visitors, if any are chatting here like in the past, such as with Virtual Places Chat
Please try to refrain from using profanity in speech and appearance
Also, keep your conversation directed in a chivalrous and respectful manner
Your presence here is welcomed
Please feel free to tour the grounds
Take a Virtual walk down Serenity Path
See the original Wedding Invitation of Hypophetes and Princess Gale
Visit our adopted Web Pets who are always happy to see visitors
Lastly, the Dedication page is here as a tribute and remembrance to those important to Banon and the history of the towers

(Note: These towers originated and were used in the 1990's during the time of Excite's Virtual Places chat. Since then, the site has seen little use as most who stopped to talk here with chat programs have moved on. I have kept this page alive in the memory of those who had good times here before I came, and in dedication to the fun chats I had here with friends as well. To preserve memories, I have left several pages the way they were before I first took over ownership here, such as Hypophetes wedding invitation. I hope that if anyone stumbles upon this page and remembers it, that they would stop by and sign the guest book)
(It has come to my attention that the castle pictured above, though used for fantasy purposes, is really Braemar Castle in Scotland. If you would like to learn more about this castle, check it out at the official website or the wikipedia entry to see what information these pages have to offer. Also, though listed as part of Ansalon, these towers have no relation to Dragonlance from which the realm of Ansalon originates, though they may have been considered part of this realm for roleplay purposes back when the site was used for chatting)
