~Caine's Weyr~

While wandering the rider halls, you decide to visit Caine. You search the plates by the doors until you find the one that reads 'Caine and Green Erath'. You push it open and see than Caina nor Erath nor Janya or Mayla is here. You glance, around looking for them, until you hear a great thump on the sunning ledge. When you reach there, Caine is dismounting Erath and removing his helmet. You look at Erath in awe at how much she has grown since your last visit. Caine grins when he sees you. "Great to see you again! Erath is all grown up now. Beautiful isn't she?" You see also that Caine has cut his hair again. It is now short, ending just above his ears, but it gets longer until a point lightly touches the base of his spine. You nod at Caine's question. "Caina Impressed a green too, Metath. She'll be flying soon. Metath is still a hatching, but she'll be big enough in a sevenday or so. Cut my hair again, I see you've noticed. I didn't like it before. It's either long or short with my hair, but I like it like this. We just came back in from a joy ride. Erath's going to the feeding grounds and I'm going to met her with Caina, who's taking Metath for a bath. When Erath is finished, I'll take her to a bath too." Erath warbles and looks from you to her bondmate, then runbles again.

Caine laughs. "All right, Erath. Go on, I'll meet you soon." With a pat on her hide, Erath leaps and takes flight, going in a downward spiral to the feeding grounds. Caine walks back in his weyr and into his sleeping quaters, where he changes his riding gear into everyday leathers. "Well, I'm going now. Stay around if you want. You know there's always a bubbly pie and some klah on the table. See you later, maybe." Then Caine whistles for his firelizards, Janya and Mayla, who fly in from the sleeping quaters.

"All right, later then," Caine says as he leaves you.
