I hate him. I hate that man with a passion. I hate Jeink with a passion. He had no right to ambush the Weyr. No right at all. And with mother so near becoming Weyrwoman. I know she misses him. I know she misses Father.

I've been Searched. I'm a candidate at Mytopa Weyr. I'm so happy. I hope to Impress. I found a firelizard egg, too. I'm not sure what it is. I hope its kind.


I've Impressed! I've Impressed a blue. Blue Bluyinth. And I when I brought him back to my weyr, my firelizard egg had hatched. It's a green and I've named her Griffa. Oh, I'm so happy.


Bluyinth sure grew fast. He's an adult now. We're doing great in classes and we're already great at flying. Maybe I can sign him up for a mating flight. There are two, I think, he can join. I wonder if we've a rank yet. Hmmm..
