Well it's been a long time since I did anything with this site. (Nearly 4 years). Apologies to all those people who have emailed with cars for sale etc. that I didn't have time to put on the site. You'll notice I've dropped the link for the time being. Please bear with me and I'll do an update soon.

My own Mustang is for sale and that's the car you see here.

The Editor of this site drives a 69 Mustang with a stroked 429 engine (to 494 cubes). This site is set up by mustangers for Mustangers. It's not run by computer boffins so bear with us. Current email is peterpav@westnet.com.au

The car was originally a 351 Fastback.
A lot has changed.
In place of the 351 went a 1971 429CJ Motor with a 460 crank offset ground to produce 494 cubes and an easy 600hp. The rumble from the twin 3" system  is earth shattering.
SVO alloy heads were ordered in as a special order to suit this motor with SVO valves and inlet manifold. A full stud kit is employed for  the heads rather than using bolts. A 10:1 compression means regular unleaded is OK, but I still run it all the time on BP ultimate.
The cam is a solid roller with crane roller lifters, roller rockers and rocker stud girdle. I wish someone made clear rocker covers as it's beautiful under there. Still SVO alloy rocker covers don't exactly look shabby.
A Barry Grant Gold claw that has been reflowed to allow over 1200cfm handles the fuel delivery and does just fine until the BG pump shits itself for the upteenth time. I really need to get a continuous duty pump for the street. I see they offer one now that can supply that kind of power, I'd start saving except for the fact I'm selling it.
The 136L  Stainless tank sits quite nicely between the big 15x10 alloy wheels with 295/50 Yokahamas. And the factory rear louvre finish off the back end.
The interior is pretty much as Ford intended and only the addition of a period sports wheel and a B&M megashifter detract from standard.
The paint is XY GT electric blue and is still in pretty good condition for 15 years on.
The reason for selling? Getting married, having a kid, and now another on the way has dried up funds and meant I can't get it just the way I want it. I'd love to install those  Brakes, suspension and rack and pinion from RRS, but priorities have changed. So anyone with an offer approaching AU$48,000 can have it, which is thousands less than what I've spent. Yes the domain www.fordmustangs.com will be up for sale soon so stay tuned.

This was my old motor with just the 351 and an open diff. The car is much more brutal with a 600hp 494 big block
