Black & White photos have always intrigued me. Before my college days I attempted both Black & White and Color with some degree of success. Like most people, I too started by using my bathroom and kitchen as a Dark Room. Today, things have changed little as I still convert my kitchen, from time to time, into a Dark Room.
Although photographic principles have basically gone unchanged, equipment has changed drastically and so has my ability to make photographs. Still, with all the "Bells and Whistles" associated with today's gadgets, good Black & White prints remain difficult at best to produce. When you view Black & White Art and you sense a certain emotion growing within, attempt to appreciate the many hours of Dark Room work that has gone on behind the scenes for I can assure you great effort went into producing but only one acceptable print.

The various cameras used to generate these photographs include Hasselblad Medium Format, Nikon F2S Photomic, Nikon F90X, Nikon EL, Nikon D1X, and Sinar F Large Format 4 X 5. Dark Room Enlargers include Durt Labrator 1200 and Keiser. Both Enlargers are complimented with Color Heads and I utilize a Cosar-Mornick 322 Color Analyzer/Densitometer.
