Hello and welcome to "W5WWW-Home of Ron's World", located in Katy, Texas. This site has been continuously on-line since February 26th, 1998 and concentrates primarily on ham (amateur) radio and law enforcement related topics. However, you will also find information within this site on various other topics, such as; Miniature Schnauzers, Texas, UFOs/Unexplained Phenomena, Celebrity Mugshots, the 09-11-01 attacks, etc. I am employed as a Texas Peace Officer and have worked in law enforcement non-stop since January of 1981. I have been a licensed ham (amateur) radio operator since 1973 and W5WWW refers to my Extra Class ham (amateur) radio call sign, which was issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1997 (my previous call sign was WA3WEE).
