Dwarven Miners
Dwarven miners rare in the underhive of Necromunda, occasionally
a Dwarven Miner finds himself cast out of his profession as a miner
for hire and sells his services to one of the local gangs or guilders.
Their constant work in the mines and naturally stout build make them
excellent fighters, but they arent the fastest. They can stand toe
to toe with the toughest fighters around and still come out alive,
but arent particularly good at shooting at them.
Recruiting Miners:
Miners can be hired for a fee of 15 credits and follow the same rules that
other hired guns do. For purposes of calculating the gang rating, the
Miner has a value of 75.
Note - A gang cannot use a miner's Ld for any tests. i.e. bottle tests.
Miners get 4 advances. Miners may not improve any characteristic by
more than +2except for Ballistic, or iniative which may not Improve by
more than +1.

A Squat Miner fights with his own weapons. These will always be a Knife,
Bolt Pistol, Rock Drill and sometimes a Throwing Axe. He will never buy
or use any other weapons.
Special Rules
For the love of it:
If a Miner takes an enemy 'out of action' in hand to hand fighting, the
model is not killed or captured at the end the game. This represents the
miners love of combat and his wanting to see the fighters face him in
battle again. treat a killed or captured as bitter enemy towards the
Miner and rerole for another serious injury.
One Tough S.O.B.:
A Miner always counts as having a friendly model within 2 inches for the
purpose of tests to avoid being pinned, this is because the miner has
always been alone and couldn't count on anybody other than himself
for support.
