To maximum the efficiency of your home office you will want to focus on your work space and area. Commonly used tools and manuals should be in easy placement and proximity to your main work area, and items less used can be placed in storage or at a separate work station away from your main desk. It is important to keep all work surfaces clean and free of clutter, and that your computer area be dust-free. Since paper marks very easily, clean your desk surface regularly with a mild detergent and also wash your hands frequently. Keeping your work area organized and utilizing every square inch of space in a home office will provide an office area that is both easy to work in and comfortable. Compressing space usage is not the same as clutter, these tools were designed to take the clutter away and provide a method of organizing more into a smaller environment.
