An impressive, modern Roman Catholic monastery and college. The buildings date from 1860 to the present day. The present abbey was founded in 1802 by Benedictine monks who had spent nine years as exiles from Dieulouard after the French Revolution. It began as a school in 1808 and has grown substantially over the years and is now one of the most well known Roman Catholic public schools in the country.
