THOMAS RAWSON Froes was the Father of :-
Herbert Francis Froes, Cacilia (Cissie) Maria Froes and Gerrard Froes
Daughter Cissie Froes was born 17th August, 1874 and baptised at St Austin's RC Church on 18th August, 1874 as Maria Cacilia Froes.
Son Herbert Francis Froes born on 11th January , 1878 and was baptised at St Austin's RC Church Grassendale on 12th January , 1878 as Herbertus Franciscus Froes.
Son Gerrard was born in about 1880.
The Froes Family lived at Mayfield Cottage, Cottage Lane , Ormskirk, Lancashire. Thomas Rawson Froes's occupation was "Barrister-at-law". The Cottage in Cottage lane still exists but has been renamed we think to Layfield Cottage.
Thomas Rawson Froes died 10th October, 1909 and is buried at St Anne's Catholic Church Ormskirk, Lancashire.
Helen Agatha Froes (nee Herbert) died on the 20th May, 1934 and is buried with Thomas Rawson Froes at St Anne's Church. Helen had moved from The Family House at Ormskirk and was living at 1 Brereton Avenue Wavertree Liverpool when she died.
Note - St Anne's Cemetry was visited on the 3rd June,2002 by Peter,Cecilia and Louise Froes, and the Grave of Thomas Rawson Froes and Helen Agatha Froes was found. It was in a position quite close to the Church. The Grave Stone is in need of repair - and the cost of carrying out the repairs is being looked into.
