Letter to F.B.Froes 17 Heron Road on 14th June 1945 from Solicitors Yates Sheridan.
Dear Mr Froes,
Francis Henry Froes by his Will bequeathed a legacy of 800 pounds upon trust to pay the income therefrom to his daughter Miss C.A.M.Froes and on her death as she might appoint. Miss C.A.M.Froes died on the 12th October 1943 without having exercised her power of appointment and the leagacy formed part of her Fathers residuary estate and became divisible between his eight children living at his death of which your grandfather Mr T.R.Froes was one. The following children survived their father :-
Francis Froes died 17th September 1927
Ida Mary Froes died 27th August 1924
Thomas Rawson Froes died 10th October 1909
Theodore Froes died 30th June 1917
Caroline Ann mary froes died 12th October 1943
Charles William Joseph Froes died 3rd February 1930
Wilfred Ildefonsus Froes died 9th October 1927
Maud Mary Froes died 23rd December 1943
Particulars of all personal representatives of the above beneficiaries have been ascertained except those of Theodore Froes , but it is thought he died a bachelor, and if he died intestate his one eighth share became divisible between the remaining seven estates.
Do you know if Theodore Froes died a Bachelor, and whether or not he left a will and who his personal representatives are ? We have this enquiry from the Solicitors who are acting for the representatives of the late Francis Henry Froes. J.F.G.Froes was the surviving Executor of F.H.Froes but he died in June 1942 and his Executors have agreed to act in the trusts of the Will of F.H.Froes. I hope you are well, and am,
Yours sincerely ………….
