·         Leveraging the process defined at ALLTEL, structured a training course creation for that methodology, which is still being internally taught throughout Siebel.

·         Commitment at XO Communications in Plano, TX for methodology project encompassing Process identification, Process Flow creation, requirement gathering, and gap analysis.

·         Structured the Discovery and Design Phases of a project at AVIALL in Dallas, TX.  Created documentation in Word, Excel, and Visio for the Discovery stage with the AVIALL Team to determine data mapping and document order entry process. Identified Lawson fields to accomplish the perceived integration from Lawson to Siebel. Received Siebel Customer Certification at AVIALL. 

·         Developed Functional and Detail Design Documents for the Private Banking Division of Bank of America to be used during the configuration of a conceived prototype. Assisted the IT staff in the understanding and defining of the needs within the Requirements and Business Process Flow Charts.

Three year's experience with FOCUS database creation and maintenance, report programming, information gathering, and interaction with high-level end-users for Information Builders’ clients. Responsible for the analysis of client’s existing FOCUS applications’ design and business problems. Provided enhancements/modifications, application maintenance, development, deployment and problem resolution.  Provided expert knowledge of core FOCUS products and management of projects at customer sites. Successful completion of projects involved intensive research, testing and deployment. 

Successes:

·         Modified multiple FOCUS applications at Texas Workers Comp, Austin, TX to prepare for Y2K.  Applications were analyzed, researched, rewritten and tested to meet Year 2000 standards.

·         Led project to enhance reporting capabilities at Hibernia Bank, New Orleans, LA. Redesigned the hierarchy of reporting structure to accommodate more detailed revenue earnings.  Identified a multi-million dollar mistake, which was in place in their old system for several years.

·         Migrated reports and applications to WebFocus at Administaff, Houston, TX. Led two other consultants and assigned projects to them to complete the report enhancements.  In May 2000, received Customer Satisfaction Recognition from Administaff.

 

Aug 1989-Aug 1997                JCPenney- Personnel Analyst                                                   Plano, Texas
Hired as an administrative assistant to seven managers in the Training and Development division of Human Resources. Quickly promoted to a lead position in the CSR division for creation of training materials.  Promoted to management to assist the HR division of personnel systems to create and test new databases and systems for the maintenance of existing focus files and programs within VM/CMS mainframe environment against FOCUS databases and sequential data files.

Successes:

·         Worked closely with each division of Human Resources (Employment, Compensation, Training, Benefits, etc.) to understand division and aid in creating and maintaining databases, and reporting on different aspects of the individual divisions.

·         Developed databases for the creation/generation of Daily and Monthly FOCUS reports including the maintenance of JCPenney’s employee company-wide information as well as compensation, new-hire, and training databases.

·         Managed, designed and implemented a Catalog associate-recognition system creating and maintaining database and reporting against that database on a monthly basis.

·         Assisted in the development of a new succession planning system working directly with senior management throughout each division within the JCPenney organization. Managed the project each year during the vacation of the project manager.
