This is my text about Kettle Corn. If you want some of the best tasting Kettle corn in the midwest USA just come to Relleke Farms any weekend in October. This is located about 7 miles north east of the Gateway Arch. Take 270 in Illinois to 111 south about 4 miles to Horse Shoe lake on right and Relleke Farms on left. I would also like to sell the sweet popcorn at the beach. Any nice show near Glen Carbon would be OK Bike week would be cool to try. I can accomodate feeding popcorn to many people so the bigger the festival the better.
I have a 10x10 easy up tent with sides that I have sold out of at festivals and craft shows for about 6 years. People like the way the corn I make taste. I use propane and a cast iron kettle.
Ingredients are corn, vegetable oil, salt and sugar.
Pictured are my son Nathaniel and I running the booth.
My power requirements are a 120v ac outlet to run a couple of 100 watt light bulbs from or if I use Coleman lanterns for light I would need no external power source.
I was also thinking this setup could be useful for generating cooked food in a disaster relief situation.
Current Recipe 3 cups vegetable oil, 4 cups corn, 1.5 cup sugar. Combine all stir till
popped.
Below in between the astericks is a email from the first guy that
I sent my help text to a couple of months ago.
