About Artesania Rinconada

The aR Collection was introduced in 1972 by Jesus and Javier Carbajales
They are identical twin brothers born in Spain. Their family immigrated to Uruguay in 1936
The collection name comes from their early studio, a small corner area of their living room.
Their designs, accented with a dose of surrealist fantasy, are influenced by Dali, Miro, and Picasso
There are over 450 unique hand crafted ceramic animal designs
Some have been retired from production and are available only in the secondary market
To celebrate their 25th anniversary, a unique collection of animals was introduced
Take a moment to view the many pictures we have of their collection
