As you can see I am an Indians fan and have been for a long time. I have rooted for the Tribe through the bad times (1960 through 1993) and the good times (ever since). I have to blame this obsession on my Mother. She is also an Indians fan and followed the Tribe in the glory days of the forties and fifties. She even went to the 1948 World Series (I have a pennant to prove it).

It would have been great to watch the players back then. With a team that included Bob Feller, Bob Lemon, Larry Doby, Satchel Paige and Lou Boudreau (my Mother's favorite player) it's no wonder they were as good as they were. However, we can't go back to that time and the Indians of today are pretty good. So all I can say is ....

I collect a lot of Indians memoribilia. Along with the pennant from the '48 Series, I have several team and individual autographed baseballs, autographed jerseys and caps and a lot of baseball cards (from 1911 to present). This collection led me into collecting sets of cards. I currently am collecting Topps, Topps Gold Label, Topps Traded, Ultra, Sports Illustrated and Bowman sets.
