Robert M. Mandell, D.O.
Dr. Mandell is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. For over 28 years, Dr. Mandell has concentrated his practice in the treatment of spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. He is a well recognized for his superb diagnostic and treatment skills for sports related injuries. Dr. Mandell is the sports medicine specialist for numerous local high schools as well as professional sports teams. In addition, Dr. Mandell was a medical officer for the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Mandell is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a nationally recognized lecturer on orthopedic issues and has had numerous professional publications. Dr. Mandell is Associate Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He presently serves as Chairman of Orthopedics at Botsford General Hospital. He is the past-president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and presently serves on the Board of Governors of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. Mandell is also a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the American College of Disability Evaluators.
