Miles L. Singer, D.O.

Dr. Singer specializes in orthopedic spinal surgery with an emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic disorders of the neck and back, including those with scoliosis or other deformities. Well-versed in both operative and non-operative treatments, he takes the time to educate patients about treatment methods. Dr. Singer works with both pediatric and adult patient. He is also available for emergencies such as spinal trauma. He takes the time to answer questions and to explain procedures and his patients appreciate his personal, caring approach to them and their care.

Dr. Singer has employed New Methods of Treatment, such as Microdiscectomy and Cage Techniques, when deemed appropriate.

Dr. Singer received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his post-graduate training at Botsford General Hospital. He also completed a spinal surgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Singer is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.
