Yacht Damage Surveyor

 

My work primarily involves representation on behalf of underwriters.  My background of over 40 years of doing surveys (both yacht and small boat) allows me to bring to the table many years of experience.

 

As you know damage surveys are usually required by an marine underwriters to assess the extent of damage and cause of damage to a vessel resulting from an accident.  My responsibility is to carry out a thorough examination and report on the resulting condition of the vessel, the probable cause of the damage, recommended repairs, and an estimate of the cost of such repairs.  This will require liaising with the client, boat yards or repairers and transportation specialists. I often travel throughout the east coast and Caribbean.

 

As an insurance company you should expect immediate reporting of survey findings / damage assessment. I therefore will make every effort to be as expedient as possible in my handling of your assignment.
