The day I met Barbie or: The day the doll came to life

It was a hot September day where I live, the day I went to our local Target to meet the queen of Fashion dolls. I got there an hour before and should have gotten there several hours before, the store was already crowded. There must have been over 300 people when I arrived and I heard later there was over 1000 that got autographs and pictures.

I was there like everyone else to meet Barbie and get an autographed picture. But I got far more than that I had a childhood dream realized to meet my heroine, as a child I had very few friends, my best friend was my Talking Barbie cerca 1968. So I was thrilled to find out that mattel was having someone pose as Barbie and make some wishes come true. after a wait that seemed like forever it was finally my turn. I had picked up a Ballet Recital Barbie & Kelly and a Haloween Party Barbie & Ken to be signed as well as the Kelly & Baby Pony set to set up with my other deboxed horses and ladies. In the above 4 pictures you will see me wearing my old BBS Tshirt, with my old handle Huntress on it. below that I have posted pictures of all 3 sets I bought that day. please enjoy these pictures.
