How to display your Fashions

This page will feature Ideas on Displaying Vintage and homemade Barbie Fashions.

here is 1 person's unique solution to the display problem.

make a mannequins out of a cheap hollow plastic dollar store Knock off doll..... take a 2.5 wooden cirlce (can find this in the craft store with wooden type numbers letter etc...) a 1/8 dowel - take the doll apart ,start a small hole at the base of the body and run it through the body til it rest on the neck knob. this is perfect because most of these are dolls are SMaller than normal....sometimes you can leave the arms on or take them off. It is your choice. Good luck! And happy displaying.

here is a picture of the new manaquine being sold somewhere. (Can't remember where.) I don't own it yet. I may or may not buy it but here it is

Wedding Titan Barbie

Wedding Titan Barbie
this is a Sweetheart Barbie driessed in an older wedding dress this is a 4 piece outfit the veil, the blouse wich is mostly backles hooking at the neck and waiste with plastic snaps, the white knee length half slip, the full skirt, also fastens with plastic snap at the waist. I am not sure how old this outfit is but it is in very good condition I only paid $5.00 for this outfit with a teresa doll.Although this dress looked fine on the Tressa Doll I decided that I wanted to see it on a titan doll I liked the look so much I made this scan and decided to show it here in my display area. (If anyone knows a bit more about this dress could you please LMK via Email thanks in advance) If you don't have manakins or can't afford the charges for them the inexpensive playline dolls make for great displays. I will post other outfits I purchase that stand out on this page or on my custom page if they are used in customizations.
