His Story

(Part 4)

Independent At Last

My four years in the service were not uncomfortable. I was trained as a linguist and sent off to Japan to act as an interpreter (a skill I have unfortunately since lost). Along the way, instead of wearing the clothes I found so satisfying, I began to date young-looking girls, not young girls, but rather ones who were of legal age who could successfully carry off a younger look. Japanese girls are not particularly "furry," if you catch my drift, and (this is the important part) they wore the type of clothing I liked. At the time, I was blissfully unaware of what was driving me or the impact that the choice of clothing, hair style or such played in my attraction to particular women. The clothing styles I liked were in fashion and were considered "cute" at the time. Cute is and has pretty much always been popular in Japan, which may account for why lace-ruffled rhumba-style tennis panties are still very much in vogue in Japan, with every manufacturer of tennis apparel (e.g., Head, Fila, Chris Everett, Ellisse, etc.) including at least one such style, with ruffles both front and rear, in their collections every year. At the same time the same styles have virtually disappeared from stores in the US; Keddie Kreations of California was one of the last few manufacturers in the US continuing to supply a tasteful, but diminishing market with these darling "underslips" (Japanese term).  A recent check of the www.keddie.com website found that the site is now gone and the domain is free.  Alas, I guess our whole culture is now "growing up" -- alas, indeed...

While I was still in Japan I met the woman who would later become my wife. She was a dream made real: 5' tall and less than a hundred pounds. Small breasts, a great butt and extremely attractive legs, this latter feature being relatively uncommon in Japan. Between a girl's size 12 and 14, how much more perfect could she be? A veritable fantasy dream come true.. As if her perfect body, beautiful face and incredible sense of humor were not enough, she liked dressing in styles I found attractive, styled her hair as I preferred, was disinclined to punch holes in her ears and wore very little makeup. She was truly a gift from heaven, a creation of perfection. I had no clue why she found me attractive.

We were married after I returned to the states. I was still an undergraduate; she came over after completing her degree. Our early married life was sheer joy. I found virtually everything about her delightful, especially the sexual pleasures of marriage. All memory of cross dressing had vanished and there was nothing to prompt a recurrence. I had learned to sew when I was in high school, working after school in a dry cleaners, and put my skill to good use, creating a long series of outfits, all using patterns from the children's collections. The styles, fabrics and cut were all consistent with what was in style for children around 1960. My wife, dear that she was, always wore what I made, even assisting me with the hand work I had never learned to do. We were avid catalog readers, constantly looking for clothes consistent with what she later described somewhat facetiously as my "exquisite fashion sense." Bathing suits, rompers, dresses, baby doll pajamas, skirts, skating, tennis or cheerleader outfits, whatever we found I would either make or buy out of our limited budget, and she would wear them all.
