In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.
O my God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
O my God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived by the Holy Ghost.
Hail Mary...
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done to me according to thy word.
Hail Mary...
V. And the Word was made flesh.
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary...
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that
we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message
of an angel, may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of his
resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt
before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires.
Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain
for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ,
our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power,
I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most Loving of Fathers.
Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your
arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart.
Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return
the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departed
souls, pray for me.
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy.
Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as
to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin, to blessed
Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy Apostles
Peter and Paul, and to all the saints, that I have sinned exceedingly in
thought, word, and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my
most grievous fault. Therefore, I beseech blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed
Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter
and Paul, and all the saints, to pray to the Lord our God for me.
May Almighty God have mercy on me, forgive me my sins, and bring me
to everlasting life. Amen.
May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant me pardon, absolution, and
remission of all my sins. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it
was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against
us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that
anyone who fled to they protection, implored they help, or sought thy intercession
was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin
of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and
sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but
in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
O my Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for Thy greater honor and glory, the salvation of my soul, for the intentions of our Holy Father, and for the poor souls in Purgatory.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace! Amen.
God the Father, I thank Thee for creating me. God the Son, I thank Thee for redeeming me. God the Holy Ghost, I thank Thee for sanctifying me; infuse into my thoughts, words and actions Thy grace, so that they may be supernaturally pleasing to Thee and supernaturally rewarding to me, forever.
O Blessed Trinity, abundantly assist me in becoming that which Thou
intended me to become when Thou created me, for in that perfection I will
give Thee the glory Thou desirest of me, and in that perfection I will
find my greatest joy in heaven. Amen.
