Our Embroidery Club had a square swap one year.  Each person made 17 of the same squares and when we all exchanged, we each had 17 different squares.  The only guidelines were to embroider on denim using a "spring" theme and adding our names and the year.  I made this "attic window" quilt with my squares.  It is a quilt that I will hold dear, as it will remind me of my friends every time I look at it.
