Cropped pants are everywhere!!  I made mine from Sandra Betzina's Vogue 7717.  The butterscotch linen goes with the linen suit which I made recently.  The border design is from Viking Card 117.  I made it all one color and added another outside border to the bottom.  

On one of my trips wearing these pants, I tripped on asphalt and went down on my right knee creating a couple of small holes in the pants and my knee.  I knew my knee would heal, but what about my pants???  I returned to the embroidery machine, isolated the flower from the border and put one over each little hole.  Viola--healed the pants before my knee was healed!
