This is the garden apron using designs and instructions from the
Viking Embroidery Club. I used a light red cotton denim. I will give
this apron to my step-mother for Birthday/Mother's Day since she likes to
garden, and I don't! |
| On the bib (I added this pocket; it wasn't in the instructions.) I
used Borders & Fonts to write "Bloom Where You Are Planted." The
watercan bouquet and garden hose are from Annthegran's site. The shovel
with hat is from Sue Lord's site. |

Each lower pocket has a seed packet, and one has the plant stake.
I used various applique fabrics for the seed packets. I used
Coats & Clark Twist in brown for the plant stake, and it looks very much like
wood. |
