I'm still experimenting with embroidery on different types of fabric. This is some sort of gold metallic mesh which I purchased at Hancock's. It comes in silver and other colors, too. I made this pant outfit a couple of years ago for a Christmas party and just now added the embroidery to the vest. |

Here is a close-up of the embroidery. The design is from Viking Embroidery Card 15 and is completely satin stitch. I used a heavy-weight water soluble stabilizer called Badge Master on top and bottom and Madeira gold metallic thread. I encountered no problems with the embroidery. |
