I made this set of pillowcases for my niece, Jill, for a wedding gift. I wanted them to have an heirloom look. I used a blend of linen and cotton purchased at Joanne's Fabrics. |

The embroidered heart design is #3 from Card 20. I used Card 21 for the names and wedding date. The lace was made using the Romantic Lace design from Janet Criswell. I made 5 strips at a time in the plus hoop, zig-zaged them together, then sewed onto the pillow cases. I used Madeira Tanne, size 50, and rayon, size 40, in the bobbin. |
