On this purchased cotton top, I used Louise Cuttings' Runway Designs.  These are megahoop designs of sketches such as you would see in a designer's studio digitized by Edna de la Cruz.

This design depicts a fabric selection idea board, complete with thumb tack.  The fabric swatches are appliqued on.  I used a piece of ecru cotton for the background which is also appliqued on the jacket.

The back has two more runway designs with more fabric swatches appliqued on.  There are two on the left bottom of the jacket which you can't see, but came in very handy since I caught part of the back when I did the front embroidery.  The little swatches covered a hole very nicely.
