I used a size 18 needle on this canvas and no stabilizer. This bag was
large enough that I did not have to open one side to hoop for the designs.

I purchased a canvas tote at Michael's for my grandaughter's teacher,
as a "thank you" for Codi to give her at the end of the year. She was thrilled
and surprised that someone could "do this." I would certainly rather embroider
than meet a teacher's daily challenges.

This is the other side of the bag. All the designs I used were from Annthegran's site except the teacher standing by the blackboard. That one came from Freda's Irish Designs. |

Here's a closeup of the writing on the slate. I used Coats & Clark
Twist for the frame on the slate. On the other side, I did the teacher's
name with Card 21.
