This is a vest I made from a fabric pack I bought at the Houston Quilt Show from Park Bench Patterns.  The pattern is Diane Ericson's #103.
The one recurring theme I saw at the Quilt Show in garments was vintage fabrics such as this floral drapery fabric.  I was able to combine all the pieces in this pack by using this pattern.  The turqoise silk was used as piping between the carmel-colored textured poly and the floral.
I found buttons in my stash that brought out the colors quite well.  The antique turqoise pin belonged to my mother-in-law who bought it in Arizona when she was a young woman in the 1940's.
The back of the vest is another piece in the pack and is a plain wool.   No embroidery on this vest, but the fabrics were enough, I thought.
