Another Conviction
I made this list to differentiate my needs and my desires. God has blessed me with a loving family, a comfortable home, food, drink, and material wealth, and I can't thank Him enough for such undeserved blessings. You may think that it is unfitting for someone who calls himself a follower of Christ to write a whole list of sought-out worldly goods. And rightfully so. I admit, at first, this corner of my webpage started as a typical shopping list of stuff. And at that time, I had no thought about losing my life and I only wanted to accumulate riches for myself. But now, this list has become sort of a confession and a guide for how to use and manage my wealth best. In my pursuit to become a better servant, a better artist, and a better karate fighter (to a lesser extent), these items may serve to aid me along the way; but in a much deeper and more important sense, these items would actually serve to glorify God. And as extravagant as that may sound, especially since some items are ridiculously lavish, I am being sincere and honest, and I truly believe that whatever is listed would actually contribute to my growth. Perhaps I am wrong for seeking out some items. If and when I realize that I had been mistaken, I will remove it.
