In Junior High School:
• In 7th Grade, Dan was clotheslined by a volleyball net in front of the whole PE class! His neck lacerations took a month to heal.
• Dan had a Mormon girlfriend. He never kissed or went out with her. Thank goodness!

In High School:
• Dan was the only Class-of-2001-Male to have enrolled in choir for four years! He never had a single solo.
• Dan sang bass, baritone, and 2nd tenor for Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, & Vocal Jazz. Hosted sectional practices at his house.
• Junior year, after CP Chemistry, Dan attempted to sleep on the ground in front of the leadership lockers.
• Junior year, Dan ran for 3rd Place in a JV 200 meter race, only to trip and injure himself! He finished last and was treated immediately afterwards. Injuries left perminent scars on his elbow and knees.
• Senior year, Dan went to school from 7:00AM to 4:30PM (track practice). On wednesdays, he stayed until 5:30PM for tutoring.
• Senior year, Dan invented Olympic Quad Swimming. But only Tim had his picture taken for the annual.
• Senior year, Dan skipped zero period and slept through five periods in one day! He almost fell asleep on the track as well, but he ran.
• Senior year, Dan bought a letterman's jacket on the last day of school! To this day, he has not had any of his patches sewn on.

In Junior College:
• Dan found Jesus for himself.
• Dan received straight A's on more than one occassion.
• Dan attempted to meet all UC, Cal State, and Otis College transfer requirements. He had to stay at Moorpark for well over two years.
• Dan started training in Kyokushin Karate in mid-May 2004.
• Dan forgot and missed the application deadline to transfer to Cal State Long Beach. He stayed at Moorpark for another extra semester.
