RESUME | PORTFOLIO |
This is your best resource, as a museum provides what I call primary research items, either actual clothing or paintings/artifacts from the time period you are researching. No other research, even online, provides what seeing the actual garment or painting provides.
Many museums have one day a week that they are free of charge.
- specializing in 19th century
-they also have a great opera company!
-this museum really is the standard by which all others pale. They usually publish very lavish books of all exhibits.
-this links you to the Versace exhibit not too long ago.
I wouldn't want to be the cutter on this show, although the renderings are fascinating to look at!
- this site is amazing!
