A photo journal of our activities
In February
of 1999, Marie Raymond (Taiwan), Jamey Taylor (Nashville),
Kathryn Darden (Nashville) and Elaine Posanka (Tullahoma) met for lunch
at the Collectors United Show in Nashville for food, shopping, and fun.
We were able to feast our eyes upon Simply Gene for the first time as well
as most of her fabulous spring wardrobe. One Simply Gene perched perkily
on Kathryn's shoulder at the luncheon. Robert Tonner was also at this show
with two Tyler prototypes and samples of her exceptional fashions. This
occasion marked the unofficial beginning of TIGGERS.
In September of 1999 Kathryn met fellow TIGGERS members Chevy Anz, Cheryl
St. Germaine, and Marianne Smith at a Chinese restaurant in Knoxville for
the first TIGGERS dinner. Each member brought a special Gene to show and
tell: Cheryl brought Breathless, Marianne brought a beautiful green gown
she created, Kathryn brought a brunette Simply Gene in a kimono by Laura,
but Chevy outshone us all with a spectacular display of beautiful Genes
in custom outfits.
