I. Comfort: Whatever was comfortable for them to
wear considering what they did
in their daily lives. (their jobs,
the local climate etc.)
II. Tradition: The things that people felt were appropriate
to the time and place.
Tradition was mainly
the result of what was comfortable in previous times.
III. Fashion: A totally random factor. Usually seen
as what a certain elite which
dominates what
people think is considering to be "In" and "Out" .
(culturally
speaking)
Clearly enough, "Comfort" is a very reasonable factor to be considered
while "Tradition" is not very reasonable and "Fashion" is totally irrational.
Therefore, it is clearly seen why "Comfort" needs to be a more significant
factor in determining what people would wear.
People throughout history weren't dumb. They knew that and part of
the reason most of what we wear today is a lot more comfortable (for
our times) than the clothes people wore lets say in the 1920’s is that
even the elite which rules fashion have slowly come to realize that.
But that process is not complete. The fashion elite has not completed
it yet and people have yet to defy it's authority.
That's what our association is for. We claim that there is no reason
why "Tradition" or "Fashion" should dictate to us what to wear. There is
no reason why the skirt which is a very suitable garment to be worn in
a warm (and sometimes unbearably hot) climate such as our own should not
be an acceptable thing for men to wear.
If you believe in our cause, please join us by sending us your email address plus a nice reason to be added to the reasons bellow.
MEN SHOULD WEAR SKIRTS BECAUSE . . .
1. Skirts are much more comfortable than pants.
2. Men wearing skirts are sexy.
3. Stigmas concerning gender-preferences are idiotic.
4. There's more wind cooling off our vital organs that way.
