The Prince's Palace is the Genoese residence of the Doria Pamphily princes and is the most significant XVI century monumental and artistic complex in Liguria. The particular characteristics of this monument mark the beginning of the Genoese "Renaissance". Andrea Doria was not only a great admiral of Emperor Charles V, but also one of the key European political figures of the first half of the XVI century. He built this Palace in the 1520's and it is the only "royal" palace to have been built during the whole secular history of the Genoese Republic. Nowadays the Prince's Palace is a private museum and it is possible to visit the apartments of Andrea Doria and the rooms of his heir Giovanni Andrea Doria.
Prince's Palace hosts Promos offices since 1986. In a more informal ambience, Promos selects and promotes the production of highly qualified Italian handicraft factories and designers. Our work is supported by the concept of focusing on products carrying at least an idea. We love working with companies cherishing our own values: being innovative, classy, trendy but affordable, oriented to please an international and higly competitive market.
