Magic Terms

Here are some commonly use terms in Magic.

Beatdown - Reducing your opponents Life total With Creatures.

Bugs - Very Small creatures also called "Weenie's".

Burn Deck - A Deck that contains many Direct Damage Spells.

CC - Casting Cost.

Control Deck - A Deck that contains many Countering Cards or Permenant
Removal.

COP - Circle of Protection.

Decking - Winning because your Opponent runs out of cards.

EOT - End of Turn

Fatties - Creatures with high Power and Toughness.

GOP - Go out of Play

Haste - Uneffected by Summoning Sickness

Hoser - Someone who intentionaly uses cards that screw an opponents Deck or Color of Deck.

Newbie - Unexperienced Player.
