"Man, what a bummer." Tai said, relaxing against a tree. "Tell me about it." Matt replied. They had just barely escaped from the clutches of the Dark Masters. "I'm too tired to go on. I want to stay here!" Mimi whined. "I guess there really isn't any point in going on." Sora commented, "Besides, we could all use a rest." She said this while looking at the Digimon, who were dead tired. "I'm going to sleep." Agumon whispered. "Not in the middle of the day!" Tai yelled at him. "We've got too much to do! And you've got to help!" "Leave him alone, Tai." Matt said. "Oh, excuse me mister 'I know it all'. We got to think of something to do, not sleep. Especially not in the middle of the day!" Tai yelled, looking at Agumon at the last part. Agumonjust looked down, and started to sniffle a little. "Just let him catch some winks, all of them. They're the ones digivolving and fighting." Matt retorted. "Oh, fine." Tai said, digusted. "Yeah!" All the Digimon yelled. "Like I said, I'm going...... to..... take..... a... snore." These were Agumon's last words as he slipped off into Digi-Dreamworld. "You better catch some shut eye too, Gabumon. Got to save your strength to digivolve." Matt told Gabumon. "I suppose, yawn, I need a little, yawn, rest." Gabumon said as he also fell asleep. "I'm gonna' soak my roots!" Palmon yelled. "Me too!" Mimi yelled, "I meen, you know." So everyone got comfortable. Izzy, of corse, started typing away with his computer. "Whoa!" He said kind of in a whisper. "What is it?" Asked Tentomon. "I do believe there is some sort of structure at the top of Spiral Mountain." Izzy said. "Just give me a nano." "What's up?" asked Sora. "Izzy has found some sort of building at the summit of Spiral Mountain." Tentomon replied, for Izzy was busy working at the computer. "Wow!" Sora replied, "Hey, isn't that the mountain that Pixiemon said to go to. He said we needed something more than friendship. Maybe we'll find the answer there?" Izzy just mummbled in agreement. "Hmm. It appears that I cannot access the lay-out of the building without getting inside of it." Izzy said more to the screen than to Sora and Tentomon. "Oh well." Sora said yawning, "I guess we can check it out later. Right now I need some shut-eye." Sora walked away. "Yeah, me too, Izzy! Let's work on this tomorrow." Tentomon pleaded. "Oh okay." Izzy said, sleepy himself. He sluggishly put the computer away. Everyone was fast asleep by their Digimon. That is everyone but Matt and Tai. They were holding a secret conference. "What's your oppinion, Matt?" Tai asked him. "Well, I heard Izzy and Sora talking about going to Spiral Mountain. Pixiemon did say that we needed to go there." Matt replied. Tai nodded agreement. "It's late, you go get some sleep. I'll watch tonight." Matt said. Tai could barely keep his eyes open, so he couldn't argue. He had one thing to ask though, "Matt, how do you stay up all night and still have enough energy the next day." "Let's just say, T.K. wasn't exactly quite when he was a baby." Matt answered, smiling. Tai managed a smile too. Matt pulled out his trusty harmonica and played a sweet lalabye, that made everyone dream happy thoughts.
The next day, Matt went around trying to wake everyone wake up. He failed. He was just the sort that didn't like to wake peaceful dreaming. He saw T.K., all rolled up in a ball, and smiled. He had his back to most of the other kids. Sora roused during this, and saw the way Matt was looking at T.K. She quitely stood behind him. Then she whispered, "Tired little tike, isn't he?" Matt jumped around in surprise. "Ho-how should I know? I was just passing." He replied quickly. "Come on, Matt. It's okay to love your brother. Why do you feel you need to hide it?" Sora asked firmly. "I-I...." Matt stuttered, then turned away. He then blew his harmonica, not exactly making pleasing sounds. "Oh, what is that racket?" Mimi yelled, "I'm going to lose the volume in my hair if I can't get my beauty sleep!" Everyone roused soon after. "Man, Matt." Tai said, "You could of just woken everybody up nice like, instead of making them go deaf." Matt just went to get some water to splash on the not-yet-waken Gabumon. Sora just stood looking at him walk away. Walk away from the truth. She sighed. "If I had a big broher like that," She said to herself, looking at T.K.,"I'd be looking for him too." T.K. got up, and looked around for Matt. "If I had a big brother like that," Sora said, looking at Kari, "I'd go crazy." She giggled to herself.
Finally, everyone was wide awake. Tai started talking, "Ahem. As you know, the Dark Masters have, for the time being, beaten us." "That's an understatement." Joe muttered. Tai ignored him. "So, in memory of dear Pixiemon, we should head for Spiral Mountain to see what it is there that we need to defeat the Dark Masters." Tai ended this sentence with a hand raised toward a mountain, the wrong one. "Ahem!" Matt said real loudly. Tai opened his eyes and saw that he was pointing to tree. He blushed, and directed his hand in the right direction of Spiral Mountain. "I'm sure not looking forward to that climb." Mimi said. "Let's go!" Kari shouted. "Yeah!" T.K. added as they took the lead. Sora saw that Matt looked a little worried, and was trying to keep up with T.K. while still not showing emotion. "Poor kid." Sora thought, "So much responsibility. And his parents split up to." Sora suddenly felt really bad for Matt and T.K.
They all finally made it to the base of Spiral Mountain. "Oh, I hate climbing mountains. You know what the air up there does to my hair?" Mimi chirped. "I think we should pick a suitable route for traveling and then procede." Joe said, rubbing his chin. "Or we could take the ski lifts." T.K. piped. "Yeah, sure. Like there's going to be a-I don't believe it!" Joe said, interrupting himself. "Yeah, alright. You better believe it Joe, 'cause there it is." Gomamon shouted. "It can't be. We're all seeing things!" Joe still argued. "Nope." Matt said calmly, "They're there." T.K. had been right when he said that they could use the ski lifts, because about 20 yards away was a ski lift! "Alright! I get window seat!" Kari said. "Kari," T.K. said, "both seats are windo seats." "Oh." Kari said, blushing. "This isn't right." Joe said determined. "There just can't be ski lifts in the middle of nowhere. Is everyone going crazy, maybe I'm going crazy. I know. It's the aliens! I bet-" "Joe will you stop babling. Everyone's leaving." Gomamon broke in. "Hey! Wait for me." Joe yelled.
They all got to the top safely, except Joe, who got hit by one of the benches because he forgot to run after he jumped. "Let me log-on." Izzy said. "Okay, I'm on." he said. They entered the temple-like structure. "Whoa!" everyone said at the same time. "Prodigious! Maybe now I can get a layout of the place." Izzy said starting to click away on his computer. "Man! I wish he'd hurry up." Matt muttered to Sora. "Me too." She replied. "Eureka!" Izzy finally yelled. "It's about time you said that." Mimi complained, "My hair's losing it's color in here." "Yeah, and I'm allergic to dust" Joe added, sniffling. "Everyone follow me." Izzy said. "Step where I step. These halls are littered with traps." Izzy whispered. "Hey Izzy." Tai whispered, "Why are we whispering?" Izzy replied, " I believe that some of the traps are caused by loud noises, so whatever you do, don't make a loud noise." "Oh." Tai said. Patamon flew too close to the ground, and kicked up some dust. Right into Joe! "Ahhhhh-ahhhhh." Joe started to sneeze. "Oh no!" Sora whispered. "Quick! Let Joe sneeze into Gabumon's fur." Tai suggested. "Uh uh!" Gabumon said. "Ahhhh." Joe was ready to burst. "What are we going to do?" Gomamon asked. "Here." Matt said calmly. He put his thumb and index finger on Joe's nose, and squezzed. Joe's sneeze was muffled, and just in time. "Ahh." Joe said, "That feels better." He still sniffled, but didn't sneeze again.
They finally got to a room. There was a thick book, sitting on a stand in the middle of the room. "Prodigious!" Izzy said, running toward the book. There was a bookmark in the book. Izzy turned it to that page. "What does it say?" Kari asked. "I don't know!" Izzy replied. "This is a form of writing I've never seen before!" All the kids looked disappointed. "Wait a minute!" Izzy spoke, "I wonder what would happen if I put this in and....hmmm.....yes...YES! It worked!" All the kids watched in amazement as the once unreadable writing turned to plain writing. "Now, what does it say?" Kari asked. "It's some sort of prophecy, like the one Genie sent me. It reads, 'The masters of the evil realm will rise up and bring horror to all that dwell on the happy world. There will be six chosen digimon to fight the evil. Of which, four will need the help of the ancient crystals of the Digiworld. The crystals will be placed on the rings of the chosen one. The chosen one, whom wears the seal of the Ancients, will then combine his strength to that of the crest and digivice, and allow the four chosen to digivolve to their mega level. Once all the crystals are in place, the chosen one will then transform to another form and the darkness will fall back down to its dwellings, to once again rule the underworld.'" Everyone was silent. "I wonder what the seal of the Ancients looks like?" Tentomon asked. "Hey! Here's a picture!" Izzy pointed out. Everyone looked at it and gasped, especially Gabumon. The picture was the same design that was on Gabumon's stomache! "I don't believe it!" Tai said. "Wow!" everyone else said. Gabumon just blushed. "But where are his rings?" Mimi pointed out. Everyone thought for a minute. Then they heard a loud CRASH! "Ha, ha, ha! You foolish digidestined won't escape me." said a big porcupine looking beast. "Oh no, Quillmon!" Gomamon shouted. "Who's he?" asked Joe. "Quillmon uses those sharp quills on it's back to deflect any attack. His Quill-Attack is sharp." Gomamon answered. "Kick it up a notch you guys!" Matt yelled. Gabumon, digivolve to......Garurumon, Agumon, digivolve to......Greymon, Biyomon, digivolve to......Birdramon.
"Eat my quills, you pesky digi-destined! Quill-Attack!" Quillmon said. "You can digivolve anytime now!" Tai yelled. They all digivolved to their ultimate levels, Weregarurumon, Metalgreymon, and Garudomon. "Giga Blaster!" Metalgreymon said. Two missiles went toward Quillmon. He rolled into a ball. The missiles hit him, but made no effect. "Hold him!" Commanded Garudamon. Her and Metalgreymon painfully held his vulnerable stomache towards Weregarurumon. "Now!" Matt yelled. "Wolf Claw1" The attach hit Quillmon squarely, and he evaporated. Just before dedigivolving though, Izzy noticed the brass knuckles on the left paw of Weregarurumon. "Aw, brass knuckles. Rings. It could be." Izzy said to himself. "It has to be." Izzy turned to the others. Because of the fight the building was collapsing. "Quick! Everyone out!" Tai ordered. Joe thought quick and decided to take the book along, and put it in his bag. They got outside, and on the ski lifts just in time. They looked back to see the building collapse.
When they were on solid ground, Izzy told them his theory. "Wow, so Gabumon really is the chosen one." Matt said. It was getting late and everyone was exhausted. "(Yawn)Let's get some sleep. We can talk about this later." Tai said. So everyone fell asleep, Gabumon the happiest one.
*Hope you liked it. Don't worry, I plan to make another one after this telling what happens. Write you later!
