The Digidestined were walking through a forest, when they came across a small clearing. Tai said they ought to rest if they were going to go any further. Izzy sat down, opened his laptop, and quickly began typing. The digimon went out in search of food and the others sat down to rest.
Joe: My feet must be allergic to walking. They're killing me!

Mimi: So are mine. And I wish there was a shopping mall around here!

Sora:getting annoyed Do you guys ever stop complaining?

A figure watched the Digidestined from high atop a tree. Leaning over almost too far, it almost fell out of the tree.

Figure: Whoa!

The figure regained its balance as the digidestined's eyes rose to the top of the tree.

Tai: Did you hear that?

Matt: Yeah. Wonder what it was. Tai, look up there with your telescope. points

The figure jumped to another tree quickly and then another until it was out of sight.

Tai: It's gone now, but I think I saw it!

Izzy: stops typing and looks up You either saw it or you didn't. Did you?

Tai: Yeah. It looked like a person. But it was moving so fast, I almost missed it.

TK: grabbing Matt's shirt Could it have been an evil digimon, Matt?

Matt: patting TK's head Don't worry, buddy. We'll find out what it was.

Joe: Yeah, and when we find out what it was, we'll pound it into the ground! hits palm with hand

Sora: Such talk from you Joe, what a man!

Mimi: Yeah, Joe. You take my breath away!

Joe sweatdropped and blushed as the Digimon returned with thier arms filled with food. Everyone ate and the digimon learned of the stranger in the tree.

Agumon: do you think it was one of the Myotismon's goons?

Palmon: Or maybe it's another digidestined?

Tentomon; Gennai would know. We should get in contact with him.

Izzy: Maybe you're right. Takes out laptop I already have email from him!

Gennai's voice: Hello everyone. I heard you had a little encounter with an unknown stranger, did you? Well, you're probally wondering what to do. I belive that the safest thing to do would be to keep going on. Don't go after it. Attacked only if provoked. Bye.

Tai: Well that didn't live up to my expectations.

Izzy: If that's what Gennai says then I think we should do as he says.

Others: Right.

In a small clearing, the figure that was in the tree looked around and landed in the clearing. It reached up and took off a hat of leaves, revealing itself as a girl! She looked around again and reached into a bag she had on her back. She pulled out a comb made out of some sort of bone and combed her hair. She sat down on a rock, putting her comb away.

Akirina: Whew! that was too close. I have to be careful. Just because I've been here for a long time dosen't mean that the moment that I see human life I can go crazy looking at them. I wonder if they'll come after me. I wonder if they're evil. I wonder.......

Akirina pulled out a small notebook. She opened to a clean page and started drawing, she must have lost track of time............

The digidestined kept walking on their journey. They came to a huge beach. Gomamon promptly jumped in the water and began swimming around. He later came back with a lot of fish for dinner. The digidestined split up to set up for camp. Izzy, Joe, Mimi, and their Digimon went out to gather firewood. Matt, TK, and Sora went to collect some more food. Tai, Agumon, and the rest of the digimon went to cook the fish and light the fire.

After a fine meal of fish, berries, and mushrooms the digidestined got ready to settle down for the night. High atop the cliff above, Akirina watched, the group, trying not to doze off, key word, trying. She kept nodding her head and then having it jump back up. She walked over to a tree, sat down by it, and slowly dozed off.

The next morning the group decided to stay for a while, seeing that there was no danger about, and that the place was full of food and reasources. Unfortunately, Tai and Matt were not seeing eye to eye.

Tai: Why don't you understand, Matt! This is a safe place to stay!

Matt: Yeah if you wanna be attcked openly by Myotismon!

Tai: He isn't going to attack! I"m sure of it, and i'm the leader!

Matt: And just who nonimated you that position!

Tai: Me, that's who!

Joe: Come on, guys. Let's not fight, it brings the group down.

Matt: I will if he will

Tai: Fine, I will.

Matt stormed off in a huff over to side of the beach and sat down. A few minutes later, the sound of Matt's harmonica echoed through the beach. Tai looked around to see what everyone was doing. TK was playing with Patamon. Izzy was sitting, talking with Tentomon, Sora and Biomon were fishing, Gomamon was splashing in the water getting Joe all wet, and Matt was off with his harmonica. Tai's eyes scanned the cliff area. He then saw a figure hiding behind a tree. He went to look away, but just when he double taked, the figure was gone. Wonder what that was he thought.

Not again Akirina thought to herself. I can't get caught staring at that group. But I just couldn't help staring at that guy, Tai, is it? He's sooo cute! That Matt guy is pretty cute, too, but he probally has a lot of pain he's holding inside, poor guy. I wonder if they have these strange things, too. She looked at her digivice. It was a strange item she recived when she got sucked into this digiworld.

She peered over the cliff to see everyone getting ready to go and that no one was looking her way. The group proceeded to leave when something starting bubling in the ocean. A huge octupus like digimon poped out of the ocean and jumped onto shore, shaking nearly the whole place!

Tentomon: Oh no! It's Otcomon

Little anlizer thing: Otcomon is a wild digimon! Get in his tentacles, and he'll never let go!

Biomon: Digimon attack! Spiral twister!

Agumon: Pepper Breath!

Gabumon: Blue Blaster!

Gomamon: Marching Fishes!

Tentomon: Super Shocker!

Patamon: Boom Bubble!

Palmon: Poison Ivy!

The attacks did very little if any damage. Akirina watched as the digimon each digivolved and used their new attacks. The attacks had no effect also. Otcomon got angry and whiped his tentacles around.

Otcomon: Tentacle Whip!

The attack hit all the digimon hard. They all fell back, de-digivolved. Otcomon was still whipping around and started spraying water at the digimon and the group. Akirina watched in horror as one of Otcomon's tentacles wrapped around Tai's waist and lifted him high into the air.

Others: Tai!

Tai: Help! Someone get me down! Can't breathe!

Agumon: I can't help Tai, I'm so weak!

Akirina saw that it was time for action. She ran to the edge of the cliff, grabbed her trusty bow from her back, took an arrow and loaded her bow. She aimed for the tentacle and let the arrow fly. It sliced through the tentacle and let Tai drop to the ground. Akirina jumped down from the cliff and gathered energy in her hand.

Akirina: Energy blast! thows ball of energy

The blast sent Otcomon clear into another dimension. Akirina fell to her knees as Tai ran back to the group.

Sora: Hey, who are you anyway?

Akirina: sweatdrops

Matt: And why did you do that for anyway?

Akirina: Sweatdrops more

Tai: Hey! I know you little flashback you're the girl in the tree!

Akirina: Yep. That's me.

Joe: Why were you spying on us?!

Akirina: I was simply observing you. I've been here long enough to know that not everything is as is in the Digiworld. crosses arms And i'd like to know what you're doing here.

Izzy: WE got sucked into the Digital world at camp.

Akirina: Well, that makes two of us.

TK: You were at camp, too?

Akirina: Yeah. My friends from the...... I mean me and my friends were sent to camp one week early. I've spent about three years in the Digiworld.

Sora: Wow, and I thought I was homesick.

Akirina: Well, the real world has just about no meaning to me.

Mimi: That's awful to say.

Akirina: Well, you would say that. You probally have no problems at home or anything.

Mimi: Why? Do you have problems at home?

Akirina: That's an understatement. My current address is 1069 Sushi Road.

Izzy: But that's an orphanage!

Akirina: Well, you seem to be the smart one, figure it out.

Tai: You're an orphan?

Akirina: Yep.

Matt: I'm sorry.

Akririna: Don't say that. It's not you're fault. You have nothing to be sorry about.

Gabumon: Are you a Digidestined?

Agumon: Yeah. Do you have something called a digivice?

Akirina: You mean this? holds out digivice

Tentomon: Yeah. Look! She has a tag and crest! points to tag and crest around Akirina's neck

Izzy: Let me see. looks This is the crest of Destiny!

Akirina: Cool! Can I join your group?

Tai: Of course you can. But why don't you have a digimon companion?

Akirina: Well, when I first got here, I stayed away from the digimon. I was scared and alone.

Mimi: If you are going to be part of the group, we should know your name.

Akirina: Sorry, it's Akirina.

Joe: My name's Joe

Gomamon: and I'm Gomamon!

Mimi: I'm Mimi.

Palmon: My name's Palmon

Izzy: I'm Izzy

Tentomon: Tentomon. Pleased to make your aquantance.

TK: Call me TK, and this is Patamon

Sora: I'm Sora.

Biomon: I'm Biomon

Matt: My name's Matt and this is Gabumon

Gabumon: pleased to meet you.

Agumon; I'm Agumon

Tai: And my name's Tai. Thanks a lot, For saving me that is. stares into Akirina's eyes

Akirina: No problem. stares back

Sora: Well, enough talk and let's get out of here before Otcomon comes back for round two.

Everyone: OK!
