Jaguars

A powerful animal as I’m known to be
In the jungle I live near the open sea

High on the trees I take a rest
Where the smooth wind cools my chest

I then sink in the deepest dreams
After viewing the dark sparkling seas

For the nap is over, I wake up at midnight
For I know that my prey lay waiting under the moonlight

I search, I find, I eat
My hunting is finished, I go back to sleep

I open my eyes the following day
To see what gifts God may lay

I stretch my legs I stretch my knees
Ready for action whenever it needs

I wander in the woods near the golden river
And saw two deer running away as they shiver

Reaching the lake at the end of the stream
The ducks flew away leaving a big huge scream

I splash in the fresh frizzy water
And swim till the other border
There stood my beautiful little daughter
Waiting for a kiss from me to give her
