Whew…they really go through clothes…I knitted this cause I just couldn’t keep up with my two by hand, and needed a simple and reliable sweater while we were living in Germany.
Machine: Brother KX350
Sizes: S(3-5), M(5-7), L(7-9),XL(sm adult)
Materials: 2(2)(3)(5) skeins Red Heart Supersaver
Gauge: 4 sts/6R=1 in.
Work as for back to RC 62(82,105, 122)
Shape neckline:
Place RH 28(30, 37, 42)sts in HP and scrap off remaining left hand stitches. Replace carriage on the right
And work on these right hand sts only.
RC 62(82, 105, 122): K 1 row
RC 63(83, 106, 123): BO 4(4, 6, 7) sts at neck edge. K back.
RC 65(85, 108, 125): BO 0(3,3,4) sts at neck edge. K back.
RC 67(87,110,127): Dec 1 st at neck edge every other row 5 (4, 2,3) times = 18(18, 25, 28) sts.
Repeat for opposite shoulder, reversing shaping.
Join one shoulder by pulling scrapped off stitches through bound off stitches and then binding them off.
Join opposite shoulder as with first shoulder and knit other sleeve.
Join side and sleeve seams. Weave in ends.
