I would like to help the party-challenge host or hostess create birthday parties that are Fun, Memorable , and Affordable! with my following ideas:
|
From your kitchen get some shortening and food coloring, mix it and make different color portions.
It is great for face painting.
Write a secret number from 1 to 50 and ask the children to guess the number, and give the winner a dollar. They love money, they would prefer it rather than a toy sometimes. Go to Top
Get a big roll of brown paper for packing, like the one that is used at the post office. Lay the paper on the floor (two double sheets) long enough for a person size. Each child has to lay down on the paper, with arms and legs in different positions and another child draw the outer line of the body. Cut out the outline and staple it all along the body's outline, except do not staple the head, feet and arms endings so we can stuff scrambled newspaper until the hole body is stuffed, then finish stapling the rest of the body. You can stand up the stuffed body and draw the face. Then get old clothes and dress it up. You'll get great paper people!

When the children start getting restless, tell them to listen to the following silence effects:
Make couples, each couple have to hold an aple with their chins and neck while dancing.
They have to hold it and the couple that doesn't drop the apple until the music stops is the winner.
