STEP SIX: Come out at the lower right bead, put six beads on and go through the upper left bead to create a loop for the ear wire. Go through this loop three times. Follow the path of the beads to do this. Go back through the work, tie two knots, go a little further and cut your thread. You now have a button. How is it attached to the feather? Pretend that the feather is the center bead. Insert the feather after you have made ten stacks. Now go through the first stack, pierce the feathers shank, go through the upper left bead and go up the stack to the next position. Continue up the stack. This locks the feather to the beadwork.
