Tips:

1) Keep hair moisturized with non expensive dressing such as dax or petrolium. What you are doing is building up healthy scalp. With a healthy scalp, you will have healthy hair.
2) Conditioning is excellent for manageability
3) Trim hair weekly or biweekly to eliminate flyaways and keep even. If hair is comming out of a perm, it's good to keep trimming hair to eliminate perm strands.
4) Healthy diet--by which I mean mind as well as body. Avoid a stressful lifestyle.
5) It is not good to sleep with unbraided fro it. So, braid your hair before going to sleep--consider this chore as the replacement to putting on rollers.
