I started wearing tights in middle school, they were my mom's aerobics tights, I loved how they felt,(esspecially after trying them on sans underwear). I'm glad that the internet has provided a way for people like us to let eachother know that we are not alone, and we are not freaks. I've seen some negative comments on some of the guestbooks out there, and I say "TO HELL WITH THEM ALL!". Homophobic basta ds!(I'm straight & married BTW). How can a man in hose be so threatening. I think all men should try it at least once, if they don't like the feel of the garment, then so be it, but to criticize, or say that we are sick, is completely unwarranted and unfo nded. Tights are a comfortable garment which not only provide warmth but can also enhance the look of legs. For Heaven's sake, why else would women wear them? As with trousers, tights have no gender so there should be no problems with men wearing them. Indeed, you can now buy mens' tights, made by Wolford. They are not cheap but are great for outdoor sports. I have a pair as well as many various types of "women '" tights. I like the feel and looks of them. Just like a selection of good shirts, really! There's no doubt that a lot of people stigmatise the notion of men wearing tights, and the argument is not helped by the many who derive some form of sexual pleasure from them (a form of fetish) or who try to emulate the look of a woman. I don't have a pr blem with the latter but personally, it's women who turn me on, not the clothes (although they DO help women look good!). My girlfriend agrees too. Ultimately, it's how confident you are, and how sensitive you are to the feelings of others around you so t at you can gently push the notion that it's not a big deal, really. Anyway, go to any Medaieval night (common in the UK), and you will see women swooning at men in tights, not to mention ballet. Skirts? Well, try a kilt - you'll drive women wild!
