About the Photographer....

Kim Nicholas was raised in Southern California where her career in photography began.  In addition to being the photography editor of the high school newspaper and contributing to the yearbook, Kim won awards at local art fairs, and completed a modeling portfolio for a beginning model.  After relocating to the Twin Cities in 1994, she began working for the local photo/portrait company PROEX, now owned by WOLF Camera.  There she had intensive Portrait Photography training, including children, families, large groups and senior photography.  Later she worked for Lifetouch, Inc. (where she studied Fashion Photography) and Great Photos! (where she learned the patient art of Pet Photography).  Her education includes an Associate of Arts degree from Normandale College and two years of art study at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
