Jim Wilson

Pianist & Organist

This web site is about my father, Jim Wilson, and the music he loves to play and listen to. He first began taking lessons at 8 yrs. of age, and continues to play both the piano and organ at various events. He has a CD, "The Jim Wilson Sessions", which includes a great variety of music. Here is some information about his background:
Jim Wilson Jim Wilson received his undergraduate degree in music from the University of Chattanooga, following which he served on the music faculty at Tennessee Wesleyan College, filling summers as solo performer in upstate New York venues. His graduate degree, in real estate and business, is from Florida State University where he also did advanced studies in piano and composition. Upon returning to Chattanooga, he entered the real estate business where he continues as an affiliate broker. Jim has been involved in all aspects of the local music scene. Besides his work with the CSO (Chattanooga Symphony & Orchestra), he serves as Music Director for the Chattanooga Cotton Ball and church musician - several years as organist and choral director at a local church - and currently pianist at First Presbyterian Church.
