The Splash Pad Fountain was designed by Walter Hood and his design team and was installed by Pacific Water Arts. During the meeting and survey process preceding park construction, a water feature of some kind was generally high on everybody's list -- either as a restored Splash Pad or a new fountain. When funds for the park ran short, the community generously picked up the slack guaranteeing that a water feature would be included. The wisdom of that decision is borne out daily -- but especially so, on warm Saturday's as children (and an occasional adult) flock to the fountain.
